The 2009 Street Festival

The whole event went really well and many thanks to everyone who played a part in making it such a success. .

Despite a little bit of rain lots of people turned out and have a lot of fun with the stalls and street entertainment. There was plenty of interest in the ‘sponge throwing’ stall which was raising money for the Alzheimers Society. Two brave (mad?) chaps took turns to put themselves in some ‘stocks’ and have wet sponges thrown at them.. See the pictures ….

Otley’s famous Farmers Markets starts at 8.30 in the Market Square. All sorts of superb food stalls, offering fresh local produce.
